General TSO schematic? 22nF or 220nF?

Is there a schematic for the Gen TSO? Comparing parts with Aions - the Aion version (convex) has a 220nF and TSO has a 22nF - but not sure if it's the same item.
So I know the TSO has the additional treble pot - so that's probably the diff but would love to see a schematic.

Schematic will not be released in an agreement with the Builder this is based off.

Is this a courtesy to the Builder because the Builder is a part of the DIY community? Is there a similar agreement underpinning any other PCBs where a schematic has not been included in the build docs? I ask because I am not aware of any.

I ask because I suspect most companies selling pedals that have equivalent versions on pedalpcb would be delighted if the circuit was not included in the build docs, and it would not surprise me if those companies started making similar requests/demands to leave the schematics out of the build docs. Given the need to troubleshoot these builds, I think that would be a big loss.

Likely not a big deal for the General Tso schematic given its similarity to other pedals where a schematic is available, but I hope this remains the exception and does not become a recurring issue.

Anyone with a bare board, a DMM and a little patience can trace the circuit. I did it on the Fallout Cloud.
the problem is that folks rarely need the schematic when they have a bare board. they need the schematic when they have put it together and something is not working. most folks don't even realize they need a schematic until that point, and the folks that try to provide help to others may not have a bare board handy to trace the circuit for someone else.

if the comment above from Music6000 is correct (which I have no reason to doubt), it is interesting that agreeing to not include a schematic would be meaningful to the builder of the pedal being cloned. It suggests that those schematics get used for more than just troubleshooting, which I had not realized. I have noticed that the pedalpcb schematics are sometime reference on sites where people design veroboards, but that seemed like another niche hobbyist market.

Well that's just poor planning, isn't it? ;) All one has to do is take a stroll thru the Troubleshooting forum to see how much shit can go sideways.

As for withholding schematics, try not to overthink it. Even gooped boards get reverse-engineered.
The irony is that the guys who are most likely to hold their schematics sacred are the guys who are cloning someone else's work. Fallout Cloud is a case in point: Triangle Muff with Baxandall tone controls.

Agreed. Sometimes the folks with the biggest secrets are the ones trying to hide how little innovation there is inside the smoke and mirrors. Sort of like the Wizard of Oz meeting the Emperor Who Wore No Clothes.
