Now that the enclosures (1590B) are done and have arrived, (another shout out to @amplifyfun), I've been able to finish a small batch run of Germanium Filters - as shown by @Chuck D. Bones in his Breadboard Series on the DBA Germanium Filter. Using carefully selected MP10B NOS BJTs, this circuit rocks! 
Elected to go with the DBA style of managing the Volume/Level control as a trimpot instead of a external control. Even when set to 50%, the trimmer still provides a lot of output with more to give.
