SOLVED Ginormous Fuzz LED always ON

I posted this in the General Questions section so I'm transferring it here. Everything works fine. it fuzzes. I'm using one of those pre-wired LEDs from Amplified Parts. So I jumpered the 4K7 pad like I've done many times before. The LED just stays lit. Switch turns it on and off like normal just LED stays on. Check the footswitch continuity from lugs 5-6 when off. Maybe there’s some excess solder under the breakout board causing a short.

Just tested it and am getting a beep when switched on and not getting a beep when off

Is that led also always on when not in the bezel ? Is that bezel metallic ?

Well, you got a short somewheres.

This was it! I removed the bezel from the enclosure and it worked properly. Put it back, shorted. So I just wrapped some painter's tape around the shaft and hot glued it in. Thanks so much!

That was a guess, but I did not see everything else shorting and your switch was acting right. Happy to have helped
