Gorva m45 with top jacks - yay or nay?

I want to build a prunes and custard/curds and whey - but no bigger than 1590b - PedalPCB pcb is a little too wide for 1590b :( so looks like I’ll be doing my own

Which got me looking at the smaller gorva m45 - which I know can be done with all top jacks - just is it a good idea too?!

Until recently I didn’t think you could put a Curds and Whey into a 1590B. But now I’m wondering… there was a recent build report with a Spirit Box inside a 1590B. They mentioned the board was just 1mm too wide… and the Curds and Whey is narrower than the Spirit Box by a hair.

(Or if anyone knows if the curds and whey board can be sanded down for a 1590b)

I've never sanded a PCB down to fit a 1590B but there is more margin on the Curds and Whey PCB than the Spirit Box, so it should be possible.

If the PCB is 57.15mm wide then it needs to loose 1.6mm (0.7mm off each side) to fit so that should just about work, is the other side similar clearance? (and how accurate is the 57.15mm width?

I've though I'ver laid out a pcb for the grove M45 It's a lot simpler to buy one PedalPCB pcb via musikding! :)

The clearance is the same on both sides of the PCB.

The board outline tolerance is ±0.2mm, so it's pretty accurate.
