Finished getting my Muffin Fuzz together and working yesterday.
I built the "Mark Us" version since I had all but one of the correct resistor values. I put a 470k at R20 instead of the 430k that it calls for (many if the other variants used a 470k in the same position).
My "research" revealed I was looking for the '75 Stomp, but with my resistor inventory limitations I settled on the MarkUs since it is based on an original RamsHead autopsy. At least that's what I read on the internet, and we all know you can always believe that...
This things sounds great to me. Muff Pi without all the noise.
It does all the stuff I want from a fuzz great. Chuggy rhythms, violin sustained leads, etc, etc...
I recommend this build to anyone. I was attracted to the different options you have using the same PCB.
Very cool!
The enclosure is temporary (yeah right). I ordered a 1590b by mistake and screwed it up drilling holes, so I improvised something with an old plastic box I had lying around.
