GPCB: pour one out for Wilkie1

I received the following email from Barry at GPCB below. I am sure many of us did as we have bought GPCB circuits.

I did not know Ray personally. I can say that my interactions with him on the GPCB forum were always helpful and positive. He and @Cybercow were so patient with me as I troubleshooted the Mini Me chorus circuit in my early days of pedal building. That positivity and engagement was really nice to have and I am sure it will be missed. R.I.P Ray.

Wilike1 (Ray Wilkinson) will be missed. He developed several various mods for different common pedal circuits for which many of us have benefited. I knew Ray from GuitarPCB and met only by phone. One of the most easy going techs I've ever encountered.

I always saw the name around Barry's site and he was always cordial and seemed very knowledgeable. Hate to see the good guys flame out.

Don't think he "flamed out", at least to my way of thinking, flaming out is like burning out. Wilkie was still hot on pedal circuits. We were working on a graduated slo-fast mod for a vibrato circuit - much like the way a Leslie cab does a slo or fast rise/fall to changing speed on the spinning horn/speaker. He pretty much nailed it. I just hadn't gotten back to him in a while, then I heard the news.
