Hey all. Spent some time on the Graphite Distortion today. Really love the way it sounds. Cleans up nicely and slides right into high gain territory with really no bad tones in between. Experimented with different transistors (along with some help from folks here) and although they don’t make a HUGE difference, I found the PedalPCB pre-soldered J201s to be a nice fit in place of the 2n3819s, although you do have to bend some legs to adjust the pin out. Also substituted the TL051 with a TL071 based on what I had on hand. All in all, this is a pretty easy build and really sounds great. I’m surprised it isn’t more popular.
