Well I was SHOCKED to find I was all out of black solid core 18ga (tube amp). I don't remember using the last of it, but gone it was except for a few inches.

So I searched, for, oh, 7 hours on this gale force cold AF rainy day in southern california for some good prices, on high voltage solid core. fire proof too, and damn inexpensive

So in the pipeline I now have 120m (393.7 feet) 18ga in black, blue and yellow as well as 80m (262.5 feet) of 22ga in orange and gray for the grand sum of 78.76 or an average of 12 cents a foot. Solid core copper tin plated, 750v rated. yup yup yup, that should do it.....

It's hard to beat Tayda. They sell 24 and 22 awg solid core wire for $0.10/foot. I've thought about buying a big roll somewhere, but ordering a few feet a couple times a year from Tayda holds me over.
That was my AVERAGE per foot, I bought much more 18awg than 22awg. The 22awg comes out to .0787 per foot. The 18awg was .134 per foot.

I looked at Tayda but did not see solid core. I just looked again, oh, there it is, lol. The shipping on Tayda is more tho.

Seriously. Do they make solid with silicon?
This is "environmental PVC". Not exactly sure how it's different than ordinary PVC.... I saw a chart that showed 300v but that was at like 1000 amps or some insanely high number. Even the 100w Marshall I'm building is only 3A, so no problem...
