Hello everybody,
I've been building effects as vero and PTP for over a decade and am just wading into designing PCBs.
I have a take on a BluesBreaker that I developed over on FreeStompboxes, and I initially drew it up with a 4 layer PCB, which was easy enough due to having a dedicated ground plane. With 4 layer prices being quite high, I'm trying to bring this down to 2 layers.
The routing is all done, and I have my backside ground pour making all of its needed contacts, but I'm wondering if a topside pour is necessary? I have some routing done in the ground layer, but I've kept it to what minimum I could.
I would ask on FreeStompboxes, but traffic over there is a little limited nowadays.
