Guitar hangers?

I’ve been hanging my guitars on individual string swing hangers. We recently moved and I need to put them back up but I’m wondering whether something like this would work better. Does anybody have any experience with that? Or any recommendation for alternatives?

I’m not much help, I have only used Hercules hangers and have never had an issue. Mind you I use beefy wall anchors if I recall correctly there rated for 150lbs a piece. So my 7lbs guitar is safe!

Tradition and superstition dictates a 13-knot noose, just sayin'...

Just some wee gallow-humour to start with.

The linked hanger looks good if you've got enough blank wall space for it.

However, they assume every application is for a studded wall.

There are no studs here. It's all poured concrete, so would have to drill deep into the wall with metal anchor points inserted then screw the String-Swing Multi into the inserted "studs". Plastic inserts are craptastic and don't work well enough with my shower-curtain, so I wouldn't trust that multi-guitar unit for my needs unless metal metal rods, and even then...

I also prefer staggering high/low to all-in-a-row, less likely my clumsy self will bump instruments into one another. Given space constraints, individual hangers can be scattered throughout a room, the instruments given a place of prominence like the fine art they are. For accessibility, such as a home-studio situation, it's better having all the instruments close to each other for easy access/swapping (again, space permitting).

If I had a lot of instruments I'd get two of them and mount one above the other but staggered (obviously).

Budget-wise, you've already got the individual hangers, save your dosh on the hangers and buy a map/plans storage drawer for all the pedals you're building. (Heck, some of those plans/maps cabinet-drawers are almost big enough for a guitar!)

Those portable briefcase/guitar-case sized stands would work for home (if you've the floor space) AND at the gig, whenever we all get to gig again, if ever.

A solid integration of both Functionality & Aesthetics is what I would shoot for — whatever best works for you.
