Here is my build of the @PedalBuilder Harmonic Percolator. They helped me with the germaniums for this project as well as my Muffin Factory.
The enclosure was designed by @steviejr92. It’s super sturdy and well made. It looks really nice.
This pedal sounds great I have only played it into a few things, rat, straight into the amp, and into a few preamps. I really like it placed first and stacked into a small to mid amount of dirt. It really seems to wake everything up.
The only other Harmonic percolator I have played was the Barge concepts HP-1, it even came with white washers. I like this version much better. It does everything that one did and also lots of new things.
This build challenged me a little. Not that it was hard but it had some parts I haven’t used before and it was a bit different than anything I have built before. I felt a bit of pressure to do the rad board and enclosure justice so I ended up reworking the footswitch and wiring a few times. I’m happy with the final outcome.
I may do a faceplate or labels at some point. For the time being I’m just going to enjoy it as is.
