help with schematic question/Bias Antiquity Fuzz

So I put a vero build to the side I was building for Feral Feline... Issue I'm having is likely due to the HFE of the 5089's im using but I'm not able to get under 7.8 volts on the trimmer to set bias and the circuit.... What resistor change should I make to help get a little more room to tweak the bias?

.... I'm a dummy.... I think I was huffing too much good solder. I was probably too tired and I was freaking measuring Q2's collector for the 10k trimmer thats on the vero board.
