I built the Effects Layouts Frizz that I did a report for here.
Long story short, this was one of my "first" fuzz pedals. Sort of a gateway. But I do not consider this in the "fuzz" category. It's much more in the amp-like distortion and even can dial it back for a decent OD tone. You can get a little fuzzy with the gain knob dimed. I actually liked the OD tone I got doing the demo.
For the artwork I went with the tried-and-true technique "fixing a screw up with spraying a bunch of crap over top". Slap some oversized knobs on it and this what we have. I don't hate it. Which is also the summation of my review:
