Hydra Delay - distorted

A few 2399 delays I've build have some noise on the repeats so I built this Hydra as my first FV1 build.

Now this is sounding good normally except there is some fuzzy distortion when sweeping the speed knob or flipping a switch while sound is playing. Is this normal behavior for the Hydra?

Ordered the chip presoldered.

Thanks!

Yes, this is most likely normal (unless it's affecting playing when not turning knobs).

Adjusting the delay time can cause some digital zippering.

Turning heads on and off (with the exception of #4) changes programs in the FV-1 IC, so there may be some noise while the program is loaded/rebooted.
