I’m Out…

Or Engineering.

If I can do it, anyone can.

Really?
My brother took a class called something like, "thermal dynamics of fluid heat transfer" while he was studying mechanical engineering.. I like knowledge as much as the next guy but I want nothing to do with any of that.

Could I be an engineer too? I do like me some choo-choo. We rode something called The Dinosaur Train in the MTNs when my grandson was small. My gosh I thought it would never end. 100º open car with the crappy speaker...you know the one...torn cone and "hand-wired" with gum as a connector.....BLASTING a cartoon theme for 2.5 hours while all manner of critter under the height of 2 ft screamed out of tune and no where near harmony.

On second thought....I'll just stick to being useless.

Interestingly enough, a great way to patch a tear in a crappy speaker is to graft a piece of toilet paper to the bowl..er-cone.

That's what electrical or computer engineering is for. None of the fluids or dynamics stuff.

that's third year mechanical engineering. I hated that class ... basically the ins and outs of steam quality (ratio of liquid vs gaseous water) in a boiler system. now statics and strengths of materials was a fun class, nothing like breaking things in the name of science

I'd be hanging out with my brother talking to him about those classes thinking, "this is extremely complicated and difficult- what a poor guy.."
Needless to say, as a mechanical engineer, he's not really "poor" anymore!

Next time I see him, I'll ask about statics and strengths class.
