I’ve failed you all

I love those parlour guitars. I used to think I needed a big acoustic to get the sounds I like but a Santa Cruz 00 changed all that. I used to get to play an old Martin O-16NY a fair bit too, and that was cool. The Santa Cruz is like that but about 100 times better! Shame I will never be able to afford one.

This Larrivee sounds as good as any guitar of this size I've ever played and it is absolutely immaculate in every way. Build quality is unreal.

It's not exactly "cheap" but it's a fraction of the price of a Santa Cruz or a Collings. You get so much value for the dollar with Larrivee.

There's a store near me which stocks a fair few Larrivee. I'll have a better look next time i pass by. I've only tried one and I think it must have had old strings on it.

I'm really a fan, but honestly have been since they started back in Canada. Back then I think it was just JC and his wife (who did inlays).

I've played a Santa Cruz parlour and it was easily the most impressive guitar I've ever played. Acoustic or electric. But it was near $11k if I recall.
