Whilst soldering a PT2399 to an SMD adaptor board and being inspired by

I suddenly thought I could do a point to point delay using the pads on the adaptor pcb to construct a nice combination of old and new

Anyway I bottled it and thought I'll do a nice easy? DOD 250 grey spec point to point with a wee tiny TL071 renamed the mad masochist dumb idea drive V250

3 hours later here we are those of you in the know may notice mad boy here has soldered power to pin 8 instead of 7 so I'm using that particular wire to hold it in my vice for now, hopefully I'll remember to change it

Why do we do these things? well a wee bit of madness is good for the...........

Lovely! Do you ever use any particular bus wire, or just what is on-hand?
Actually I've only used a wee bit I got here www.wires.co.uk and so far I've used mainly component legs

Its tinned 1mm wire and I'm also using silver plated 1mm square wire which isn't conductive on the outside so you need to file a bit off at the solder ends

Basically a happy accident so I can let it touch some of the fully conductive wire without shorting it, handy if you need to overlap it

1mm is a bit thick for the adaptor board pads 0.7mm would be better
