Another PCB from the bottom of my drawer. It's from Inverted Cross Audio, I got some of his PCBs quite a while ago and didn't really feel like tackling this one, mainly because there are 3 J201 that need to be SMD ... aka super mühsame Dinger.
Also, I've already built some Life Pedal variations. But here we go again, I got the smd stuff soldered in somehow and from there on, it was business as usual.
I think this version differs a bit from the original. If comparing to the big Parentheses, there are no PF5102/BS170, but 3 J201 as mentioned, and two 2n5088 instead of 2N5089. I went with an OP7 and two tantalums in the rat section. GE diodes are some funky, matched D18 from our favourite Ukranian seller.
Still, it sounds like a ringer into a rat into a boost, alright.
IT DOOMS!
The designer of the PCB thought it might be a good idea to have 3 foot switches on a BB with side jacks ... nice try, but not with me.
Bigger enclosure equals better sound!
Maximum volume yields maximum results!
