SOLVED Increment overdrive no sound just some static when cranked

I just finished up an Increment overdrive and as the title states I have no sound/output from the pedal aside from some static when everything is fully dimed. Really not sure on this one as I thought I was being fairly meticulous measuring and testing every component before I put them on the board and then alas failure.

Pedal LED does power on and off as it should with footswitch actuation. No sound with pedal on or bypassed. Really not sure on this one... Did I possibly screw up the diode orientation on the 2D503B's?

Ugh yeah it's a grounding issue...thank you... Now I need to exactly figure out what lol... I've had this happen before many moons ago, but if I loosen up all the components (nuts on the pots, footswitch, toggle switches) then pedal works. Snug them down all the way and the pedal stops working.

Stray strand of on the footswitch PCB.?
Overtightening pots can cause issues too but your bypass would still work.
If bypass isn't working, it's down to the jacks, footswitch and breakout PCB.

Just an update. I did resolve this issue and get the pedal working. Somehow the input wire was getting pinched between one of the mini toggle switched and the case. When I snugged down all the pots and mini toggle nuts apparently it was choking the wires signal off or causing a temporary short somehow, even though the wire was working fine once the pressure was let off.

I ended up just sticking a couple pieces of electrical tape onto the in and out wires on the bottom side of the board to ensure that they stayed in place when I went to rehouse the board in the enclosure. Problem solved.
