Just finished this up for my brother in law. I am definitely building another one. Holy hell this is a great pedal. The Gorva box and shiny aluminum knobs give it a super premium feel. For the life of me, I don’t understand why the real thing sells for so much.

I'm a little confused on Informant vs Muroidea. I thought both were Rat-based? Looking at the actual build docs, the Informant is more complex.
From what I understand the informant has an additional preamp circuit (MXR Micro Amp I thiiiink) that runs into the rat circuit. That’s why it has a really sweet cleanish boost feel but you can also get that rat tone when you get the drive and cut knob right

The DRV marries a sort of Klon-style buffer with an all-opamp version of the Rat (instead of having a JFET output stage). Plus it has a charge pump for more headroom!
