Is this build completed? I see a lot of simulations and technical jargon that's waaaay over my head (I'm not a LTSpice or tube expert by any means) and I don't see a pic of an actual build yet. I'm just a solder jockey that likes to breadboard once in a while. You still have some time before the contest is over to get this to your finish line.
Apart from just sorting out the final CF clip (literally adding a resistor to the anode and adjusting the trim pot).. If the rules allow that minor change then we can make that a submission ... it's not going to fit a pedal but does have 'foot switch'!

Week 5 is now behind us. Only 1 entry this week by @falco_femoralis with an overstuffed 1590G "Twill Deluxe". Virtually no hate since then.
Multiple entries and hate are strongly encouraged. I also understand that it's vacation time for most of us in the northern hemisphere.
Prizes are still up for grabs, so keep those builds coming. Show off what you've got in your stash!

That depends once it's all finished. There are no limitations to the size of an enclosure if there is to be one in your build. The requirement is either a pedal or a prototype of one.
Let's call it finished - I've had a look at the distortion and it's basically when it is really clanging it. So nope I'm calling it done. There's nothing more I can do without opening the wallet and ordering stuff.

Fair enough. I'd just like to see a pic of the final build and a schematic. THere have been tons of simulations and graphs in your thread.
Will get on to that - let me transpose to KiCad and also do a walk through the schematic and then the build. It should make more sense given the complexity.

I’ve been meaning to get in on this. I have 3 or 4 things I know I can build with my current inventory, but each one has one or two key components that I can’t seem to locate. Time for some more workbench organization

Relay for bypass switching
The guitar and amp grounds are straight to GND and aren't shown.

Note I have resistors in series to make up values that are shown in the schematics. The two parallel caps are the 0.30uF decoupling caps in the schematics.
The input is the small wire I need to use a croc clip on the 1/2" input because I don't have another socket.
The output are the three wires that the bottom that go to a 1/2" socket that doesn't have a nut. This provides the grounding connection.
The clip/prove at the very top is my B+ monitoring DMM.. it's on when the device is...

I had a dry solder joint when building.. that arced nicely at 350Vdc.. the solder melted off the lug from that
