I had very few PCBs to build, and struggled to get any enthusiasm to build them. A lot of what I build is Vero because I modify so much. But then Mr bloody PCB had to get all clever on us and have a heap of new ODs I have to try. So now I am back to having a bunch of boards to build - and the first lot (ordered 8th of October!) has just arrived today. FWIW even though I build a lot on vero I am a big believer in buying the PCB if it is from the person who traced the pedal. I think it's only fair to reward the work that went into it. And if it's a pedal I might build a lot of then I buy more than one PCB.
Or in the case of the Decade PCB I have been asked by a friend to build one for him so I bought two boards as (a) a safeguard against messing one up, and (b) possibly one for me if it sounds good! I did that with the Foxxy Fuzz and it worked out well because it's a great octave fuzz.
I have two more parcels of PCBs to arrive from Mr PCB - but sadly no Strawberry Red OD boards yet... Maybe if I'm good they'll be available for christmas.
