My build for the Kinetic Fuzz. Based off the Keeley Psi Fuzz.
Build went great. I purchased a "genuine" NOS AC187 for the mojo factor. I wrapped it in foam when I closed it all up. Also picked up some .47uF caps for the occasion.
Happy with the build, a but disappointed with the sound. I saw it was a "hybrid opamp/Ge Transistor circuit so I thought that sounded super cool. Not sure if it's my build but it just sounds too compressed with no bottom end. Haven't tried in a mix but just seems like it would have absolutely no chance to cut through it. Just not quite my preference I guess.
Regardless, had fun building it. 3/5 for the pedal, 5/5 for the experience.
