That's a 12V zener diode for overvoltage / reverse polarity protection. You could use 1N5242B if you have it.

Alternatively, if you're sure you'll never plug the pedal into more than 12V you could just use 1N4001 (or similar). You'll lose the overvoltage protection but will still have reverse polarity protection.
 
Try a 1N4742, it's the only one you can use!
The reason I said a 1N4742 is it is more accessible & correct from local stores than the alternatives for me as listed by PedalPCB above.

My mate has a genuine Klon & 18v still fried the Charge Pump.
Took me around 3 hrs to remove the Goop from both sides of the PCB Charge pump & Socket it in case it blew again!

ancient thread here but is it the charge pump that gets burnt out without the voltage protection of the 1N4742?
