I'm always drawn to build bit crushers, so here's this one. Definitely a step up from the analog takes on this effect type. Much cleaner audio, and wider range of sample rate reduction. Uses an ADC0804 for it's crushing power.
Only mod is an increased R12 (33k to 100k), as stock it was well below unity gain, now it's a bit above

It's a Parasit board, so you know it's gonna be simple and rad. If you're into bitcrushies and ringmoddies, I suggest slapping one of these together. Not hugely versatile, but it is a lot of fun

I am finishing up one right now, first experience with smd soldering, it didn't go as bad as I thought 😅
Why did you sub r12? No unity even with the gain trimpot?
Also, did you just install the pots backwards to fit it with top jacks?

Yep, it was too quiet stock, so I adjusted R12 until I was happy. The trimpot effects the input gain, not the output

The pots aren't backward, but yes- I've got the center lugs soldered to the board, and wires from the other lugs to their respective holes

Good ideas, i still have to try it before boxing so I'll keep in mind the R12 tweak.
If I understand correctly, it's in a feedback path right?
