Lamb Chop (Way Huge Pork Loin)

As a bass player, I was a fan of the Pork And Pickle, so I decided to make one of each. I went with the original transistors, and while I can read a data sheet, I have to say a big thank you to others on this forum for posting their builds. I was hesitant of the pinout and orientation of the transistors, but all of your pictures and info helped a ton. When I first got it put together it didn’t work. Clean bypass was fine, and the clean blend and volume knobs worked, but no drive or tone. I reflowed solders last night and it seems to be working 100%. Since it’s a Pork Loin, I went with my favorite pork loin product, pea meal Canadian bacon. IMG_3362.jpeg IMG_3392.jpeg IMG_3438.jpeg IMG_0073.jpeg

Great looking build!

I drilled my enclosure for this yesterday and will build it this week. Great advice on the pinouts, I will make sure to be extra careful populating mine.

I used the data sheet something like this to get the emitter, base and collector oriented correctly and used a few photos, as well as the pedal schematic and followed the traces to connected resistors to double and triple check before soldering them in.
