Leprechaun

Hey fellow builders. I built a leprechaun that didn't work at first. I start checking voltages and I had nothin after the 5817. Checked the next cap in line, no power. Checked continuity, none. Ran a jumper from the diode to the cap, roared to life. I know the occasional bad trace on a board happens, so I thought I would post my experience.

If you look at the back of the board, the trace starts at the d100 diode and makes its way down to the + side of C6 Please take your DMM and check for continuity along this path first. I took a chance on a hunch knowing I could possibly fry stuff. Look at the schematic to have a better understanding.
