let's see your pedalboard!

I play Teles the most, into a Princeton

I must add the signal chain is a bit odd: jhs fuzz > CE2 > Microvibe > phase 90 > ep booster chinese clone > red snapper clone > TC sub n up > TC alter ego 2 > neunaber Immerse reverb > BD2 > GE7 > Ditto > Polytune

Red snapper is almost always on, the purpose of the BD2 after the reverb is to produce some shoegaze stuff, the GE7 has only a boost around 1 khz to get out of the band mix when needed

Is your tuner at the end so you can mute your whole pedal chain?

Here's mine atm. I put this together for the cover band I play in. It has a bit of everything. The first pedal is a tuner/my amp's reverb and trem controls, then a Fumble, then a Byzantium Flanger, Dielectric Boost, LGSM, Pauper, and Amber Overdrive. it's powered by a Voodoo Labs x4.

The board is about 21"x10", just a bit bigger than a Pedaltrain Metro 20. I built it because I like my rear row of pedals on an elevated tier. I made it so it could be its own road case with a removable top and none of my knobs would get weird, like what might happen in a soft case. I built it with my table saw, mostly using dado joints, reinforced with screws in a few places. The board surfaces are at a 10 degree angle, which I was able to achieve with an angle jig. The hinges I bought on amazon, and it has an audio out 1/4" jack on the left side so I don't have to worry about placing the last pedal in the chain in a certain place. The power supply is mounted such that the power cable just plugs into a hole in the back of the box. The rear panel of the board comes off to move things around and is an interference fit so it does not require hardware.

It works really nicely. The handles are reinforced with big fender washers so they can be used for transport. It's very easy to install/remove the top, and it locates in place with the front panel and little teeth that fit into the back of the bottom board.

I'm not big into delay/reverb pedals so they are not on my board, but I would like to make a small delay for 50's slapback stuff. I play this with my Gibson SG and Fender Strat thru a Fender DRRI

Here's my current board
Tuner - Deep Freeze - Aion Minima envelope filter - PPCB Chop Shop - PPCB Irrlicht - PPCB Carcass - PPCB Sour Grape - Bad Stone (on his way out) - PPCB Caesar chorus - Dreadbox Treminator (not pictured, the little box i made to convert an expression pedal to Cv to control the rate of the tremolo) - Red Panda Raster 2 for crazy and weird delays - PPCB Cataclysm with oscillation mod - Walrus Slotva reverb

Still a work in progress obviously but I really like my 4 gain stages

It's kind of a mess right now. Modified Squier VM Jag Bass into the VP Jr, Pigtronix Philosopher Bass compressor, Boss ODB3, Landrat Mojo (3 way Rat clone), Idiotbox No Moon, Deadbeat Modulation Station, TC HOF Mini (Jonsei preset), TC Ditto, PPCB Frequency Interchange Filter. All that into a Peavey Century 200H head and Peavey 115 cab (or Hilbish Beta Pre/Crown XLS1500/Ampeg 810 if I ate my Wheaties). PXL_20250626_001319892.jpg

Would you believe I play in a ska band? No?
Crust punk. Yeah. That.

Isn't Mr. Bungle considered a ska band? Ska needs filthy bass too.

Oh alright then. It's pretty intense

DIY bits are
  • FX10 (always on at board input)
  • Have Blue with a super grungy AC187 (very meaty, no highs)
  • Tube Bender/Pipe Stretcher modded for less bass and more mids
  • Life/Parentheses Mini modded with bass control hack
  • Ghost Echo with a short brick, very different vs stock
  • Muzzle Classic from years ago
I made a switched patch box so I can patch things in without unplugging anything. It passes signal straight through with nothing connected to send

Also a breakout box for tap tempo so I could wire it directly to everything rather than through the switch. No extra programming

There's a few little changes I want to make but I'll putting it off for as long as possible. It's a lot of work lol
