Lightspeed on vero

Been on the hunt for a new overdrive to use in front of my Templo Nomad amp, as I want something with a tone control to replace my old 250 build. I found the Benson Preamp underwhelming, so I figured I'd try the Lightspeed, as folks rave about it.

So far I can see the appeal! It sounds great and the frequency control gives it some versatility.

This one is from a vero layout I found online and, as this is just for me, I used an old enclosure that had seen a lot of abuse and repainting. Had to fill a hole with JB Weld and there's a lot of crackle and texture from previous paint jobs, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Wanted to add a shot of the sides, as I tried to make sure the lines wrapped around (none of it is perfect, but looks cool enough).

Man that paint job is epic! I absolutely love this, the texture from the previous finishes actually looks pretty cool and the way the colour changes from the top to the sides is fantastic.

Thanks! There's a lot crackling and texture from trying to bake this in an oven years ago, then sanding most of that off, but thinking some of it looked cool. Ha
