You guys know what's up here, bassballs with a bit more control which is a huge improvement. I considered putting the distortion on a footswitch but forgot about it until just now. Kiiind of annoyed about it actually. Anyway, this one's a great cure for boredom and worth the effort even if you know it isn't making it onto your pedal board. Graphic is another vintage book cover - The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus.

Takes a 2 trick pony and ups the trick count considerably. It's nice to be able to season to taste when hitting it with other effects. Definitely some interesting tones with the yassmaster. Nasty nasty.

My wife: But why?
Me: It's called the bass balls. What does one find at the base of the balls?
My wife (who's a family nurse practitioner) : sighhhhh.... the perineum......

This is a fun pedal for sure. I've built a few filter pedals and even have a couple that I purchased. This one is probably one of the best for bass. Simple and easy to dial in with plenty of tones to ream out of it.
I love the MiniMu or my Wonderlove for clean smooth, funky bass tones, but the BassBalls handles being fed fuzz and distortion with octave down better in my opinion, great for more synthy tones.
