Mach 1 / Powder blues

I own both the originals, a Lightspeed and Blues Power, but always build a pedalPCB version just to compare. ( and even have sold some originals because my builds did better 😅)
Difference in sounds is always minimal between the originals vs the pedalpcb's.
Dialling in the Blues Power I heard a familiar "timbre", if you will, for lack of a other word to describe it.
Switched on the Lightspeed just to find out the Blues power in the dialed in setting was very very close in sound to the Lightspeed.
The Blues power was on the "warm" setting with the dipswitch on "clear" setting.
Tried my finished Powder Blue build which overall is a bit brighter, but...
Same thing.
Is the Blues Power circuit in any way related to the Lightspeed circuit?
I'm too much of a noob to distinguish similarities in topology of both circuits.
Anyone here know this?

Thank you!
So if I would take a mach 1 Pcb build replace the 12k (r12) resistor with a 50k pot, the drive pot with a 1meg and make the 47n (c6) switchable with bigger values ( like 100uf or 220uf) in the way the bluespower dipswitch works, and add a couple diodes on a switch (glass/warm/edge) I'm basically there?
