My first MBP build. This is the Burly Bear. To be honest I really only purchased this one because it looks like PPCB does not make this one. And I didn't find any others that make it either. I've never played the Ibanez FX-7. At least not that I remember.
There were 2 mods for this that added mini toggle switches. I omitted these mods for the main reason, I didn't have any of those switches on hand. There was a lot of odd values but I tried to come as close as possible to the bom.
The build was great. No issues at all. I will be building more of MBP stuff for sure.
The circuit is actually pretty cool. I was pleasantly surprised. It's like a fuzzstortion but it's much smoother than I thought it would be. And the damage knob adds some nastiness to it for some added fun.
I went with a kind of racing theme since FZ7 kind of reminds me of a sports car or something. I went for the basic EHX look. Sort of reminds me of how the bass big muff looks asthetically.
