I've built a bunch of other mutron III based filters and I greatly enjoy the sound, it's a widely beloved envelope for good reason. For the past few years I have been preferring the madbean Junk Trunk for it's ability to play nice with the gas tank fuzz. I like that combo more than a meatball with a fuzz in the fx loop. Where this mini mu really shines is that it needs no adjustments when switching between up and down filters. I never use the down setting on the junk trunk for this reason but this little mu sounds great going back and forth. A few dumb mistakes were made but a victory is a victory.
