This was a fun and easy build. It sounds great. I put it through the Josh Scott treatment that he did in his video. I used it as a boost, and pre and post gain. I like it best post gain pedals.
This is the second time I’ve used the Koala No Spray waterslide decals. I have to say that I had terrible luck with regular waterslides. The ink ran almost every time. These are great. But you really really need to be sure they’re dry before clear coating after applying them. Oddly they instruct you to print using regular quality rather than “best” quality. The colors are excellent. The decal is a little thicker and so easier to handle. I plan to try the clear version next.
This is also the first time using an “outie” power jack, as well. I love that you can remove the guts without desoldering. But I don’t like how far it sticks out. I may add some washers so it doesn’t stand so proud of the enclosure.
The only thing that didn’t make it here before finishing were the knobs that I chose. They are the blue Marconi knobs of the style used on Neve 1073 Eq’s.
Anyway. Fun build. It will be going on the board.
