Malificent Mids with relay bypass

Just wrapped up the Malificent Mids with relay bypass. I really like both and the Mids pedal is a bit of a sleeper. Nothing out of the ordinary here but I stole the header pin idea for joining the two boards. The relay is totally silent and the latching/momentary feature is very slick.

I agree I think this pedal is underrated. I've seen many great demos of it that have made me consider getting it. do you use the momentary function on the relay switch

I'll get it on my live rig this weekend and looking forward to seeing what it can do. The momentary function would be cool for those moments where you need a line to punch thru or do a call/response solo approach by yourself. It has a surprising range and is extremely quiet.

Just ridiculous. Cranked the Mids and Sweep pots to get extreme upper mids and then set it to slightly above unity gain. Drop the volume on the guitar, kick the pedal on and the clean sound is crazy. My idea of "clean" is to have a bit of sizzle and grit on the top end and this thing nails it. I haven't had time to figure out if it works better pre or post compressor (Madbean 4:1) but it sounded superb post and in front of a VFE Dragon. That was pretty much my full rig this morning. And my 6505mh loved the setup.
