master volume question

Hello, I have an Amentum Boost that works and sounds killer on bass when boosted. I was trying to add a master volume to get that boosted signal tone but still be able to regulate volume to match hen in bypass. I added an A100 pot going out from the footswitch to the tip of the output jack, and does what I want it to. However it also controls the volume of the pedal even when in bypass. is there a better way to have it wired so that i can crank the normal boost for some grit, but have this output volume match bypass? Or am i talking crazy talk? Thanks in advance!

You need to move the pot.

Starting from the stock configuration (no master volume pot):

Disconnect the wire going from the Out pad of the PCB to the 3PDT.
Connect lug 3 of the Master Volume pot to the Out pad of the PCB.
Connect lug 2 to the 3PDT where the original wire connected.
Connect lug 1 to ground.

Now it should only control the volume when the pedal is active.
