You'd get more variation from the BBD themselves and how you bias it. The Skoolie is a brilliant bit of kit. I only wish I had built those first then I wouldn't need all these goofy power taps hahaha

Well done! That 3pdt wiring looks awesome. I’m a fan of changing the impedance input to accommodate my humbuckers, and there are some pretty useful mods from the total recall docs that should translate to the skoolie too, like changing the blend pot to a log I found that extremely useful, I wonder if excluding R16 on the skoolie would be similar to excluding R31 on the total recall. I eventually want to build a skoolie but since you say the TR sounds better maybe a second one instead.

I did. I bumped it 1meg

He suggests a mod for both R2 and R3. Did you change both to 1M? His R2 for impedance was 300k, but hen R3 was increased from 39k(?) (Build doc lists 22k) to 100k to lower the gain output

I'm pretty sure I also changed R3 to 100k as his recommendation on both Skoolies.
