Sooooooo, I need a wee bit of help/guidance here, mostly because I don't understand the midi terminology, which makes searching for answers to my questions nearly impossible.
I've been using midi (morningstar/disaster area) to control a ton of functions on my pedals, love it. My question is based around finding a device I can use, if it even exists.
Is there a device that can generate midi clock data based off an incoming audio signal, and send that midi clock information to all connected devices? I need to have something that automatically reads the BPM of an audio signal, determines the BPM, and then sends midi clock to my pedals, midi keyboard, drum machine, and computer, so that everything is in sync. So I'm for example, said device would read the BPM of a drum track and then send midi clock to pedals so that they are synced to the drums BPM. I play improvised music, so I'm never setting a BPM for a song, it just happens. So I need something that can determine that on the fly, NOT something where I input 105bpm and that gets synced to all devices. Does this even exists, and if so, any suggestions on a device?
I am aware of WaveClock, which basically does what I'm looking for, but I'm looking for a piece of hardware and not software.
