Could the Muffin Fuzz BOM be modified to clone the Bass Big Muff Pi? Has anyone had any experience with this kind of change?

Here are a few good resources on mods, but I don't think that there is a verified schematic of that particular iteration (I could be wrong on this, though). The component numbers are different, but you can compare the schems from the pages linked to the one on the PedalPCB build docs. There is a ton of info out there on the Big Muff.

I was hoping since it's such and old pedal a bass version would be already available in kit form. I suppose I could buy a junked one and check out the differences but I don't have the spare time to really do the investigation properly. On the other hand, it's pretty cheap even brand new...
