I have built this pedal before with a few small mods; this time I built one that follows the BOM. It has surprising power and harmonic distortion. Two gain stages and one potentiometer? What is not to like? I followed the BOM and the only change was exposing a 3mm red led that was meant to clip inside the case (BOM called for a 5mm red diffused). I used a waterslide decal on a Tayda ball silver 125b. The pedal top has been clear coated and I used a top jack faceplate. I used Switchcraft jacks and a soft click footswitch. I had trouble picking a knob - I think I may stick with the blue one.
If you are into overdrive you should build this. I can repeat what I said about the last one because it applies to this one as well: " I would describe this circuit as raw and fantastic. A very surprising pedal that is extremely overpowered".
Note: I used a scotch pad to give the ball silver enclosure the appearance that you see in the second to last image.
