Moonshot Tremolo

Finished building the Moonshot PCB last night it’s for one of my friends who plays in another band at the college I go to. It sounds great! This is the first time I’ve played with a tremolo let alone built one. I think he’ll dig it. I left the enclosure blank because he said he wanted to give a go at painting it himself. It’s a matte black sand finish from Tayda. I'll let him pick out some knobs after he paints it too. I might go back and switch the led colors or up the 4.7k to a higher value. Anybody have a suggestion for what value to use, or should I just experiment with it? I used a green superbright for the bypass led and it is BLINDING. Other than that the build was super straightforward.

Nice work!
Don't be surprised if you have to go up to 47K or higher to tame that superbright LED. I'm powering a 5mm superbright green LED off of 12V and I needed to use 100K to get the brightness under control.

Thanks! I went ahead and replaced both LEDs with the normal diffused ones. Much more pleased with the way these turned out and there's a nice balance of brightness for both of them. I added pics to the OP.

Hi! I did this tremolo and it´s sound amazing but I must crank the gain to unity volume, it´s normal?

Thanks!

Mine pushes out unity gain right between 11:00 and 12:00. Post a thread on the trouble-shooting section. I'm sure someone over there with more experience than I have could help you out. Make sure to include good pictures of the inside of the pedal as well as your solder joints.
