It calls for the big type. I can pick up an old wah and gut it, but wondered if anyone had a source for the empties.

I looked on ebay and bought the first one that was under $30. It took a couple of weeks but they show up. You want one of the large black ones.

Got a pro series volume pedal for super cheap last week and it arrived today. Not gonna build a larry any time soon since it seems like a huge pain in the ass, but at least now I have the enclosure secured.

Last week or so agogo @drgonzo1969 put me onto one for the right price ( Blessings upon you kemosabi), the $hipping matched the price, so …doable but for the postal strike.

I'm afraid I've been snatching up all dem cheap wahs for the past few weeks here stateside.

Like, gimmie all the sub 40 dollar crybabies. I got inductors to measure.

Also: did mine with a little alligator. The LED and stomp switch holes didn't line up. FWIW.

While we’re on the topic, anyone ever have any luck scooping up dead Ernie Ball VPJRs? I’m guessing the fact that the string and pot are pretty user-serviceable means you don’t see people dumping them for cheap as much as you see with other “broken” treadle-based stuff

Usually about $50 for the used vp jr's here in the states. I got mine at a pawn shop.

Just found a VPJR with a busted cord for $15 with $15 shipping on FB marketplace. Of course I snagged it so I can do the zeppelin labs kit to it at some point
