Hello
I have built a Mu-tron Phasor 2 Vero board. When the guitar is plugged in and the footswitch is off, I get a clean guitar signal, but when the footswitch is on, I get no guitar signal and hear a tick-tick sound with the LEDs pulsing. The tick-tick response when changing the speed rate value with the pot.
I measured the voltage at the input connection on the board, and it increased when I hit the guitar strings, but the output voltage doesn't change when I hit the guitar.
I have also attached the layout that I have followed.
I wired ground from the board to the input jack sleeve, and the input and output points on the board to pins 1 and 4 of footswitch and the input and output jack tips 2 and 5. 3 and 6 are connected to each other.

So the ticking noise is common on these. On the pcb version of the II its ussually caused by your input wire running too close to the lfo and it picks up the lfo tick. Im assuming thats happening here but likely from the layout itself. This seems nearly unavoidable on vero, I’d slmost think youd want the lfo and led on a seperate board.

Your best bet is going to be to audio probe the circuit to see where you drop the signal. Follow the signal path til it drops.

Run your iron through the tracks. There appear to be some potential solder bridges. Or it's just the angle of the pic
Hello. Thank you for your help and support. Today I found the bad soldering in the 3.9k resistor and I fix it. It was the very issue and now the phasor works excellent just like the vintage one. 👌🏼 Your advice made me focus on soldering and I saw a bad connection. Thanks.
