SOLVED Muffin Fuzz with Tone Bypass; Volume differences

Hi,
I just finished a Muffin Fuzz (Suf75) with the Tone Bypass. I like both settings a lot, but the tone bypass is WAY louder than the standard. The build doc says it is a "more raw sound", but I didn't expect it to to be so much louder! I also feel the tone setting doesn't get as loud as I expected ( I can have the sustain and volume near max and it sounds louder than bypassed, but not a ton).

Maybe there is nothing wrong with my build, but thought I'd check. I'll throw in a pic..
Thanks!

Either up the value of R24 or jump a resistor from one side of R24 to ground, maybe at D2, to bleed some signal to ground.
You could also use a trimmer to match levels more accurately.

I'm marking solved. On further investigation, the non-bypassed mode is too quiet. Not sure where I am losing volume. I may start a new post to ask fort thoughts!
