I'm making a DIY pedalboard and each pedal based on my favorite bands. Here's my third, the RATM Rat. I took the cartoon guys from Artist Ludzik, so shoutout to them - https://www.behance.net/Ludzik

I used to have a rat and sold it to fund something else, always regretted it! This pedal sounds ace and to my ear exactly as a rat should :-).

I wonder if there is a connection between RATM and the Rat circuit ?

I always thought Tom Morello only used an EQ as volume boost, and an amplifier head, in RATM ?

Hi bud, thanks! I've never seen a RAT on any of Toms boards either.

To be honest how this started was a 1991 pedal that sounded like Pearl Jam, so I made a PJ themed pedal. I then made a list of all the pedals I want to build, and a list of all my favorite bands, and then looked for ones that I could link together with a similar name or artwork.

So, I would have loved for each pedals sound and effect to be linked to the artist, but I found that so hard that I just gave up and looked at matching the names instead! So, I have the Pedal Jam, Fuzz Fighters and RAT.m so far. My main aim is a board of pedals I want with artwork from favorite bands, so if the sounds don't match or isn't the exact pedals they use then I'm ok with that.

I should have really built a RATM whammy pedal though! :-)
