Muzzle Classic not gating.

So it turns on and if I turn the knob nearly all the way it basically acts like a volume off (and the LED goes red). But there is no noticeable gating at all besides that volume decrease. I jumped the Tip and Switched Tip pads on the pcb as I'm just doing the standard single input and output. I'm new to this whole thing so I really don't know what to do...please help!!!???!!

Have you tested/tried it out outside of the enclosure? (I had some grounding issues with the one I built) and double check your jacks are wired correctly. Also the 100uf electrolytic cap on the left looks a little weird for some reason. Make sure that’s going the right way. Start with that and report back. Hope that helps you out.

Oh and check all your solder point that you didn’t bridge anything unintentionally

Thanks...the cap on the left is a little tiled toward the bottom as the beige film cap I ordered was a little wide so I had to bend them a bit to fit. The pedal turns on and semi-functions there is just no discernible gating effect...bad IC???

One thing I did notice you have a box film I. The 560nf cap.... is that one the correct value? I think a .56uf MLC is usually used there. I doubt it’s a bad IC.
