Muzzle problem

Hi.. I finished the muzzle pedal... I have a problem with the operation, when I reach the threshold it blocks the sound but not completely., and I increase the threshold from the ideal point it lowers the sound of the instrument without however completely interrupting the sound.. help?

I set it to the low mode on this inside instead of the high if I remember right cuz it worked better for me that way. I'm not sure if yours is messed up or that's just the issue though
