MXR M87 Problem

Hi! I have one MXR M87 and it takes few minutes since I turn on to start working, it´s like 2 minutes. (it's like it needs to be charged)

Anyone have some idea about how to solve this?

Could that be a capacitor issue?? I’m not sure.

I´m not sure, it´s weird

When I turn on it sound very very low, I need to crank output and input to get unity, after few minutes work fine :/

Interesting… sounds like a cap problem. Something somewhere needing to charge up?

try powering it up and taking some voltage measurements at different points in the power section, and then take measurements again after a few minutes when it’s “warmed up”. Compare and see if there’s a drastic difference at any point between those few minutes

Read the positive side of the 100µF filter cap (I think that's what it has) right after turning on, then after "warm up".

less than 1 volt, but when it´s works the voltage still less than 1 volt :/
