My shipping is lost or delayed....what to do next

It will go back to Germany I bet.
It's too common how many USPS packages zig zag routes. No one knows why. DeJoy has really screwed up the USPS. I still use them regularly because I believe it's a vital institution and want it to continue without being privitized(the goal of many politicians) but it can be painful at times.
I recently ordered 2 hard cases at the same time. They shipped at the same time, same seller, same location, same shipping rate. They arrived 8 days apart from each other. It's almost like the service operates poorly by design.

A package being truly lost forever is rare.

Had a huge, heavy package from the US come to the Netherlands. It got stuck in customs here for a month. Then it showed up in LA. Then moved to some place near New York. Then, in some small town a few counties before it would have gotten to to the sender (Colorado), some hero made things happen and it went back to the east coast to the Netherlands and was with me within a week. The strangest thing was that I did not see any new labels being put on the box. Only the original shipping label. So no idea what happened, but some unsung postal worker made my day. Too bad you can't really trace these things down and thank them!

Ah, the divine reward of patience!

At this point I can only pray to God that one day the package will finally show up in my mailbox.....
This goes together with another fuck up with FedEx that now involved Liquida incasso for a package I received on the 26 of September but
I never received any invoice for the customs.
Now Liquida claims that FedEx sent an invoice of 22.44€ on the 2.10.2024 & then I got a Mahnkosten( basically a fine) on the 23.12.2024 of 7.50€ and finally the mahnung itself via physical letter from Liquida asking for an additional cost of 32.40€ (another fine)
So now I'm supposed to pay a total of 60.69€ for a mistake that is coming anyway from their side
Obviously I didn't receive the two previous notices by email or letter and when I contacted the FedEx customer service, the operator confirmed that no mail was sent...so??
Her suggestion was simply to pay the debt with Liquida and file a claim for refund to FedEx
But I find it quite unjustified as a procedure....
I mean...here is not a case in which I have to prove my "innocence". FedEx basically already knows at this moment that there's a mistake from their side but I have to pay anyway and hope to have justice at the end of this story....
Pfff....should I believe in it??

A package being truly lost forever is rare.
I may be mis-remembering it, but to the best if my knowledge, my family finally got an invitation to my dad's coworker's kid's bar mitzvah right before he graduated high school. So like 5 years too late. The best part, we lived ten minutes from each other in the same town. Only one post office was involved. I will never underestimate the time it can take USPS to deliver something.
