Mystery Meat diodes

Does anyone know if the mystery meat diodes are hard or soft clippers?

If they're soft clippers will we need to use low leakage diodes or does it not matter? I've been testing my stash and they're all pretty leaky.

Can you help with this @Robert?

Can anyone help with this? The last of my parts arrived today and I'd like to finish it up tonight. I'm not keen on using sockets for the diodes either.

I noticed this picture earlier on the prs website and it must be a different version of the horsemeat than the one you traced @Robert

It has a different complement of diodes and a different layout. I wonder if it's one of the prototypes

I quite like the pedal but it's a bit noisy. I like your choice of diodes. Although I usually use BAT41s where others might use Ge. I always break Ge diodes!

I've not noticed much noise from mine tbh. I haven't boxed it up yet but it's as quiet as anything else I've built.

I think they made a mistake marketing the pedal, well two mistakes actually. The name's terrible and it doesn't sound anything like a klon. It's much more versatile than my Klone.
